Iryol is a cover illustration for a story of a lost city state surrounded by turbulent seas.

This was a really fun illustration to complete which combined a number of different software tools to complete the final illustration. The main city structure was began in plasma and finished in 3DS Max, The water effects were created in Bryce, sky dome was created in Cinema 4D and the compositing and final tweeks in Photoshop

It was lovely to be able to combine the strengths of each piece of software into the finished illustration and the client was extremely happy with he end result which also became a run of advertising posters.
